The Ardèche is a land of contrasts . On our routes, you don't walk at the bottom of the gorges but on their heights , offering spectacular panoramas of the Ardèche gorges. The atmosphere is stark, luminous, sometimes awe-inspiring, always magnificent.

Further north, around Mont Gerbier de Jonc , the landscapes become volcanic and open. Plateaus alternate with more wooded areas, creating a constantly changing and diverse scenery. In the Ardèche Mountains, the atmosphere is gentler, hilly, almost pastoral.

The terrain remains accessible : some stages feature gradual climbs or steeper sections, but the routes are designed to be suitable for families . This variety of terrain makes donkey trekking in the Ardèche lively without being technically demanding.

Hiking with a donkey is based on a simple principle: walking freely while maintaining a high level of comfort. Thanks to the pack saddle, the donkey carries your belongings (up to 25-30 kg), making the experience easier and allowing children to fully participate.

Before setting off, you'll receive all the necessary instructions to safely lead your donkey: fitting the pack saddle, managing breaks, and understanding the animal's behavior. The goal is to make you independent while ensuring your peace of mind.
