On foot in Toubkal National Park
Starting from Marrakech, your guide will take you to explore the most beautiful landscapes of the Toubkal massif. You will ascend Mount Toubkal (4167 m), the highest peak in North Africa, and discover the splendid Lake Ifni, a unique place nestled in the Tifnoute Valley. During this trek, you will cross several mountain passes, as well as numerous Berber villages with their magnificent terraced fields. This trip is available for groups of 5 or more. Day 1
You will be met at the airport by our guide and transferred to your hotel where you will spend the night.
Day 2
Transfer from Marrakech to Imlil (1750 m), passing through the Moulay Brahim and Asni gorges . Meeting with the muleteer team and starting point of the hike towards Fousarou (2000 m) via the Tizi N'Tamaterte pass (1950 m).

Day 3
Ascent in switchbacks via the Likem't pass (3600 m) to reach the Azib Tinzart (2500 m).
Here, a high mountain landscape awaits you, offering panoramic views of the Haouz plain and the magnificent Jebel Taroukht . Then you will descend towards your evening bivouac , secluded in the heart of the mountains for an exceptional night.

Day 4
You leave Azib Tinzar to descend towards the village of Amssouzart (1750 m), the largest village in the Tifnout valley , passing through the Ourai pass (3120 m).
Here again, breathtaking high mountain landscapes!

Day 5
Early departure towards Lake Ifni (2300 m) with several passages through Berber villages.
You will be able to enjoy this magnificent place, Lake Ifni, a splendid cirque formed by an ancient glacier.

Day 6
To start the day off right, you'll enjoy a beautiful climb up a steep path to the Ouanoums pass (3700 m). Take in the splendid high mountain views before descending to the Neltner refuge (3105 m).

Day 7
An early morning departure to reach the summit of Toubkal (4167 m): the ascent is safe and follows a winding path that gradually leads to the top. From there, you'll discover a panoramic view of the Anti-Atlas Mountains, the pre-Saharan massifs, and the Marrakech plain . Then you'll descend to Imlil.

Day 8
At the end of the trip, you will be taken from the hotel to the airport to catch your return flight.
This hike is led by a professional, French-speaking guide who will be delighted to show you their magnificent country in the best possible way. A whole team will take care of setting up and taking down the campsite each evening and preparing lunch and dinner. You'll be charmed by the kindness and good humor of everyone involved, who will make this trip a truly dreamlike experience.
In the end, all you have to do is walk and let yourself be guided!
Pack a soft-sided travel bag with a side zipper or a frameless backpack. Avoid hard-sided bags and suitcases.
In this bag, here's what you absolutely must have:
- A small backpack for the day's essentials
- A pair of lightweight walking shoes that provide good ankle support. Avoid new shoes (blisters). Slip-on sneakers are recommended for each stage of the hike.
- A good warm sleeping bag and a tracksuit for the night (nights are cool at altitude)
- Warm anorak and warm pullovers or fleece, rain cape (storms possible)
- Hat, shorts or bermudas, wool socks, headlamp with spare battery and bulb,
- Survival blanket.
- A pair of telescopic poles if you are used to them.
- In your small backpack: 2 water bottles of at least one liter, pocket knife, toilet paper, lighter, sunscreen and lip balm, sunglasses.
- At the start of the season: add walking shoes with rigid or semi-rigid Vibram soles, gaiters, gloves, hats, very good mountain sleeping bag, and Placier sunglasses.
- A first-aid pharmacy will be available during the tour. However, it is recommended that you bring your usual medications and a personal first-aid kit: elastic bandages, iodine alcohol, compresses, arnica, aspirin, intestinal antiseptic, small scissors, tweezers, hydroclonazone or Micropur for water purification, activated charcoal or brewer's yeast (to maintain intestinal flora), etc.
Your luggage will be transported by mules, please ensure you only bring the essentials!

For single people, for people wishing for separate rooms, a supplement will be indicated when the quote is drawn up.
In all cases, these prices are given as an indication only; depending on your requests, a precise quote will be drawn up before booking.
It is possible to hire saddle mules to relieve tired people for an additional 95 EUR for the 5 days of walking.

Regarding the bivouacs: Please note that these are igloo-style tents. If you wish to share a room and tent on this tour, be aware that these tents have limited space. Don't hesitate to ask your travel advisor, who may be able to offer you a supplement for a single tent (subject to availability) for added comfort.
For your convenience, our on-site logistics team will set up and take down the tents. This means that in the morning, you can set off on your hike after packing your daypack, and in the evening, upon arrival at your campsite, you'll find your tent pitched.
Two mess tents, a small one for cooking and a large one with mats for meals.
A simple toilet tent (simple screen) will be set up by the local teams in the evening at the bivouac.
