Morvan multi-activity stay

The Brionnais is the Romanesque garden of Burgundy: it is an authentic bocage that you will discover, where man has been raising the most famous cows in the world, the Charolais. Here hundreds of kilometers of paths lined with hedges have been preserved and it will be a delight for you to enjoy them!

Céline arrived here 20 years ago and since then she has been walking the paths of this sumptuous bocage; she knows all the little corners, all the most beautiful paths and it is a pleasure for her to help people discover this little paradise who are looking for a place to recharge their batteries. A stay organized, prepared by a passionate of her region.

It is thus a multi-activity stay which is proposed to you and one will be able to go of discoveries in discoveries on ground, on water but also in the airs, alone or accompanied.

On land :

Hiking alone, with a guide or accompanied by a donkey:

On all the Brionnais, there are not less than 36 marked out loops which are possible but you can also at the beginning of the farm be accompanied by a donkey which will lead you to the discovery of the towpaths of the canal of Roanne in Digoin and the edges of the Loire where you will be able to observe many birds.

We can also organize a forest bath where you will be accompanied by a guide who will allow you to have a sensory approach and to make you discover nature differently.

The bicycle or mountain bike ride:

The "véloire", a green way which follows the Loire, passes 2 km from the farm. By borrowing it, you can visit Charlieu, Roanne, Paray le Monial, Digoin. From there, you can also follow many marked cycling loops that allow you to discover the Brionnais area, but also the Roannais area.

More than 300 km of mountain bike trails are marked out and allow you to explore the most beautiful paths of the country.

The electric scooter ride (from 12 years old):

An electric all-terrain scooter is like a mountain bike without pedals or saddle, equipped with an electric motor. It allows you to ride on trails, even steep ones, without any effort. The battery is in a backpack and has an autonomy of about 40 km: we can therefore propose you circuits of about 35 km per day, in the plain of Loire, or in the hills of Brionnais!

Horseback riding :

We can organize pony rides for families with young children or rides of one to several hours in the heart of the Brionnais, in the small valley of the Arconce... besides the horses will be happy to bathe there with you!

Romanesque architecture :

The Brionnais is also a major stop for lovers of Romanesque art. More than thirty 11th century churches and Cluniac monuments form an incomparable ensemble in France. By car, you can discover them all through two itineraries of one or two days: the Charolais circuit (about 220 km), and the Brionnais circuit (about 120 km). But we can propose you to visit the most beautiful of them, by day, on foot or by mountain bike. We can also organize guided tours of these churches with a passionate man, Pierre, a true encyclopedia of Romanesque art and history.

The small villages of character :

Less than 30 km away, you have beautiful small villages of character like Semur en Brionnais, Charlieu, Saint Haon le vieux, Le Crozet, Charolles, Paray le Monial.

On the water :

The Loire, the longest French river, commonly called the last wild river in Europe, is a magnificent river. You will evolve on a zone classified Natura 2000. Natura 2000 groups together natural sites, throughout Europe, identified for the rarity or fragility of wild species, animals or plants and their habitats. It is considered by Balzac as "the prettiest sky in the world above our heads".

Here is the Loire in Burgundy, not the one of the castles, not the one of the gorges a little further upstream, the one of the bocage, still young and capricious, with its islands scattered everywhere and its elegant meanders.

Discover it by canoe:

Remarkable landscapes will be offered to you, where fauna and flora will give to your stay a great interest; thus spinning on the water will be able to approach some species, like the Common Terns, Grey Herons, Black-crowned Herons, Crested Grebes, Bank Swallows and many other remarkable birds. Canoeing on the Loire is an activity that suits families as well as groups of friends: you have to be in good agreement, on the same wavelength, otherwise you won't make any progress! This often leads to some great laughs, because it is not always easy to stay in control of your boat and its trajectory!

To discover it with a naturalist guide:

Stroll along the banks of the Loire, let your thoughts drift along the water, observe the flight of birds, smell the perfume of the flowers in the hedges... Let yourself be guided by your guide: let go, get closer to simple things, learn a little, but also have fun and relax. No time constraints, if you are there at the right time, and that's where you have to be, then maybe you won't move all day! We are invited to a place where we take the time we need to do things, see and feel what surrounds us at the rhythm of the river. Far from all the screens, share moments, discover as a family and rediscover the essentials: birds, insects, plants, all the clues that the animals leave us of their passage... a real moment out of time.

In the air :

Hot air balloon flight:

At dawn, or at sunset, you can discover in an exceptional way the small castles hidden in their green setting, take height for a moment of serenity above the forests, the green meadows with white cows, the undulating hills and the rivers winding in this magnificent bocage... an unforgettable experience!

Baptism of the air in ULM or gyrocopter:

Between 20 minutes and one hour, you can make your first flight in a microlight or more original, in a gyrocopter, which is a microlight between a helicopter and a plane. Whatever the chosen aircraft, you will fly over the fabulous meanders of the Loire gorges.
