On the banks of the Loire between Iguerande and Mably:
You will be welcomed at bougres d'ânes in Melay at the beginning of the afternoon. You will then leave on foot to join the banks of the Loire where Olivier, proposes to you to discover the most appropriate techniques to fish: With the lures, with the fly, alone, between friends, in family (from 12 years)... a whole panel of formulas which will answer your waitings. Whether you are a novice or a seasoned fisherman, our fishing guide will be able to adapt to all levels. A relaxing half day for fishing lovers or for those who want to discover the benefits of fishing!

On the banks of the Loire between Iguerande and Mably:
And then the next morning, very early for the courageous and later for those who are less so, Olivier proposes you to discover the migratory fauna which populates the banks of the Loire in spring. Last wild river in France, it is the scene of an unsuspected explosion of life. These outings are also a good opportunity to try your hand at wildlife photography and take some good shots. Walking is the preferred means of discovery, but you don't need to be an experienced hiker. The observation of the flora and fauna (birds, insects...) is done with adapted equipment, supervised by a professional and passionate guide: Olivier, and we take our time!

The Loire, the longest French river, commonly called the last wild river in Europe, is a magnificent river. You will evolve on a zone classified Natura 2000 which gathers natural sites, throughout Europe, identified for the rarity or the fragility of the wild species, animal or vegetable and their habitats.
Walking in nature, gliding along the water, observing the flight of birds, smelling the perfume of the flowers in the hedges... with family and friends, this is the program! This nature stay is first of all a vacation where we will all together let go, get closer to simple things, learn a little, but also have fun and relax far from the screens. All activities will be accompanied by a naturalist guide. He is a specialist of birds, insects, fish and animals of the river, a disconnection to find oneself: the slow tourism par excellence. For the family or for experienced fishermen who want an experience in the Loire.
No kill obliges.
You will need:
- Sufficient water for the entire group.
- Appropriate clothing for each activity depending on the weather (boots, clothes for outdoor activities.
- Shower gel and shampoo not provided by the accommodations.
You will not need:
- Towels, sheets or sleeping bags in guest rooms.
- All observation equipment provided by the guide.

You go to the village of Melay in Saône et Loire : department 71
Saône et Loire is served by the A6, A39 and A40 freeways and by the national road Centre Europe Atlantique.
By road, Melay is 9 hours south of London, 7 hours south of Brussels and Bruges, 3 hours west of Geneva, 4 hours south of Paris, 2 hours south west of Dijon, 1 hour and a half south west of Chalon sur Saone, 1 hour and a half north west of Lyon, 1 hour west of Macon, and 20 minutes north of Roanne. On Google Map, enter as destination "bougres d'ânes".
By train, enter as arrival destination : MARCIGNY
If you come from the North of France or Europe, you can stop at the TGV station of Le Creusot - Montchanin where you will take a bus that will drop you off one hour later at the stop of Marcigny where a cab will have to be reserved to take you to your destination. If you are coming from the south of France or Europe, you have to go to Roanne train station where we will pick you up and a bus will drop you off at Pouilly sous Charlieu where a cab will have to be reserved to take you to your destination.

BED & BREAKFAST FORMULA (based on 2 days / 1 night) :
For 2 people sharing the same room :
260 € per person.
For 3 people sharing the same room:
195 € per person.
For 4 people sharing the same room:
160 € per person.

These rates are given for people sharing the same room and the same bathroom. For single persons, for persons wishing to have separate rooms, for single-parent families and families of more than 5 persons, a supplement will be indicated at the time of the estimate. In all cases, these prices are given as an indication, according to your requests, an estimate will be established before the reservation.
These prices include :
- The complete organization of your nature vacation.
- Accommodation for one night during the stay with full board from dinner on day 1 to picnic on day 2.
- The accompaniment of a nature guide for half a day on Day 1 and the morning of Day 2.
- All the necessary equipment for fishing and bird watching are provided: only the technical clothes are at the charge of the participants (waders, polarizing glasses...).
These rates do not include :
- Drinks except dinner and personal expenses.
- Transportation to and from the accommodation.
- Insurance, including cancellation insurance.
- Fishing is generally practiced on the open waters of the departments of Saône et Loire and Loire; therefore, to respect the law, all fishermen must have paid the taxes corresponding to the modes of fishing envisaged and or practiced.
- We do not take in charge the expenses related to the purchase of the various permits or fishing rights (reservoirs, private ponds...) but can however reserve the accesses (reservoirs) if necessary. The no kill is the state of mind for this stay.
