We invite you to discover the South of Morocco between Telouet and Zagora by mountain bike.

You leave from Telouet which is located at an altitude of 1,870 m. There we find the casbah which once served as the residence of the Glaoui of Marrakech. The visit to Telouet is extraordinary: you will go from interior courtyard to interior courtyard, passing through arcades with finely carved decorative elements and marble work inlaid with earthenware.

Then you will take the old caravan route which will take you to the waterfall loop to finally finish at the gates of the desert not far from Zagora.

Program

Day 1
  • Arrival in Marrakech and welcome by our guide and driver, then transfer to the hotel.

In the evening, you can enjoy the incredible atmosphere of the Jemaa el Fna square. Located at the entrance to the Medina, this triangular square, surrounded by restaurants, stalls and public buildings, is a meeting point for the city's inhabitants, but also for people coming from elsewhere, especially in the evening. where you can see snake charmers, storytellers and many musicians: an extraordinary atmosphere awaits you!

Day 2
  • After breakfast, departure by 4X4 by road to Ouarzazate with a passage through the Tizi N’Tichka pass at 2260 m. This road offers absolutely magnificent views of the mountains.

After the Tichka pass, we leave the road to prepare the mountain bikes before descending into the gorges on the southern slope.

You will take the direction of the wide valley leading to Telouet (1780 m).

You will take the time to visit the magnificent Casbah of Pasha Glaoui in Telouet.

After lunch, there will be a few more kilometers to go before arriving at the village of Tighza in the Atlas Mountains.

    Night in lodge.

    Circuit of approximately 46 km - D+: approx. 250m

Day 3
  • On the old caravan route in the Ounila valley, you will drive through the hamlets clinging to the mountainside.

Arrival at the Kasbah of Aït Benhaddou, you will enjoy the visit of one of the most impressive and best preserved Kasbahs in all of southern Morocco.

    Camp in the Fint oasis.

Day 4
  • Short transfer to join “the waterfall loop”.

You will resume your mountain bike around D'Jbel Sarhro, on a track bordering the Draa wadi, making its way between mountainous folds and a valley continually bordered by cultivated fields, palm groves and dotted with a series of kasbahs built in adobe.

    Camp in Targua.

Day 5
  • The track winds between gardens and palm groves, and the arid hills which delimit the Draa valley.

    Numerous meetings with the population.

Day 6
  • Cultivated fields and palm groves follow one another. Here and there, a kasbah or an adobe ksour will appear on the track. A circuit that will allow you to discover the life of the oases.
